I’m Robert Breyer, proud to serve as the principal of this amazing school. With over 20 years in education as a teacher and principal, I believe every child can succeed when home and school work together.

At Erwin, we are committed to creating a safe, joyful, and engaging learning environment where students are excited to come each day. My goal is to partner with families, staff, and our community to support student achievement, strengthen school culture, and celebrate success together.

I look forward to an incredible 2025–2026 school year with all of you!

I am honored to return to the Erwin community as Assistant Principal at Erwin Elementary and rejoin the RedHawk family!
I was formerly the music teacher at Gentry Primary and Erwin Elementary for over fifteen years. I was involved in all the transitions that brought Gentry and Erwin together to our current, beautiful facility.
